Namumba Namakobo

Librarian, Nabukuyu Mumuni Library

Namumba joined the Lubuto team in 2021. She holds a Diploma in Library Information Studies from Evelyn Hone College and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Kwame Nkrumah University. She recently worked as a Youth Field Officer at Empowered to Succeed, an NGO based in Kabwe. At Empowered to Succeed, Namumba ran technology lessons and programs, as well as facilitated training and learning sessions for children and youth, provided them with mentoring and built their self-esteem and confidence. Prior to this position, she taught English and Religious Education at Christian Academy Centre in Kabwe.
